Well, seeing as this is my first post, I guess it’s fitting that I do something of an introduction here. My name is Jess. I’m a sophomore journalism student at Ohio University. I music and reading. My favorite band is without a doubt Angels and Airwaves. Their song “Breathe” is quite possibly one of the best pieces of music ever written. My favorite book is George Orwell’s 1984.
I’m a strong Christian. Galatians 2:20 currently defines my life, and I’m sure it will for a long time to come.
The name for this blog comes from the title of a song from one of my favorite bands. I’m a big Coldplay fan, and their song “Life in Technicolor” is the second-most played song on my iTunes. In fact, it comes right after “Breathe.” I feel that the song aptly describes its purpose, and my life as well, because it has no vocals—its purpose is to be a soundtrack. And a soundtrack to my life it has become.
This blog is mainly meant to highlight the happenings of my life as…well, as it happens to me. Feel free to comment on whatever, about whatever. And if there’s anything you’d like me to discuss, let me know. All I’m about is living my life, and living it to the fullest. In a sense, living it in technicolor.
